The Star Discovery Stand is an upgraded version of the Star Explorer, featuring Freedom Find Dual Encoder Technology. Once aligned, the telescope can be manually pointed anywhere in the sky without losing alignment, giving the user great freedom, convenience and flexibility during observation.
This Newtonian telescope uses diffraction limited mirrors for exceptional optical quality. The primary mirror is aspherical (parabolic) and collimable, ensuring precise mirror alignment and sharp image quality. The 150mm aperture focuses 30% more light than a 130mm telescope and 73% more light than a 114mm mirror. That means stunning observations of Saturn's rings, Jupiter's belts and moons, phases of Venus, and Mars' polar ice caps.
